Malcolm Haynes, Project Manager

"I believe the CCM system will assist the Amey, Birse, and Carillion management teams deliver best practice change and risk management to our clients in a transparent and auditable fashion. Being web-based, the system is extremely user friendly and flexible allowing secure access to be achieved wherever internet access is available. In addition, it is set up for each individual contract and, therefore, helps to ensure that the Project Manager strictly follows the requirements for each contract to be administered."

Henry Smith, Bedfordshire County Council

"The acquisition of CCM has proved to be an innovative & streamlined method of dealing with all aspects of administering our contract, it has negated the need for numerous and lengthy meetings and associated travel to and from locations for meetings for many participants. I have been impressed with the ease of use and navigation around the system is easy to pick up - CCM has proved to be a valuable system of keeping all interested parties abreast of all events relating to the job. A one stop shop accessible for my desktop has proved to me its value.”

Highways Agency

Highways Agency

David Elwyn, Project Sponsor, Eastern Regional Control Centre

"This project was an unusual one for the Highways Agency, delivering a building, and used the ECC contract to deliver it in an environment where the contractors were more familiar with the JCT contract. CCM enabled all of us on the project to follow a structured framework to make sure that all the necessary steps required to deal with compensation events and the phasing of work were followed, with the actions and the owner of those actions clear for all to see. It allowed meetings to be more purposeful and it allowed the events to be managed with an absolute minimum of paperwork. CCM was also sufficiently flexible to meet our specific needs for this contract. Finally, the fact that it could be managed remotely, in a secure environment, was also of great benefit when the project team was geographically widely scattered. The initial scepticism of the system, particularly by the contractor, was dispelled through use and I would have no hesitation in using it again. Both the consultant and the contractor have used it again on other projects."
